NIOS Change of Study Centre: ₹520 Fee, Last Dates and What Your Centre Must Provide

Your study centre (Accredited Institution) runs your PCP classes and checks your TMAs. Here is how to change it and what it owes you.

Rules and fees below are taken from the official prospectus (Sections 2.10(c) and 2.11). NIOS can revise them by notice — check sdmis.nios.ac.in and our updates page before you pay or apply.

Changing your centre

  • Apply online through e-services and upload valid reasons and documents.
  • Fee: ₹520, paid online.
  • Last dates: 30 April for the September–October exam; 30 October for the March–April exam.

Free services your study centre must provide

  • 30 theory PCP classes and five practical PCPs as per NIOS norms
  • Evaluation of your Tutor Marked Assignments
  • Counselling for course-related problems
  • Information on fee dates, date sheets, exam centres and other notices

Stream 1 learners are attached to a study centre based on the preference given at admission and seat availability.

What is the fee to change NIOS study centre?

₹520, paid online through e-services.

Is there any extra fee for PCP classes at the study centre?

No. The prospectus says the study centre provides PCPs, TMA evaluation and counselling without additional charges.
